Polvere di stelle - Stardust

Maria Stella Piro, nata ad Olbia in provincia di Sassari in Sardegna, un’isola magica e arcaica. Mi considero una piccola libellula che vola leggera sulle acque di un grande lago che si chiama vita. Mezzo secolo e oltre, ho già visto, volteggiando su questo lago, tanti cambiamenti su queste acque, a volte calme e scintillanti alla luce del nuovo giorno, altri invece buie, tenebrose, agitate e paurose, ma sono ancora qui in questo presente a raccontarmi e a sognare.

I am Maria Stella Piro. I was born in Olbia, in the province of Sassari, on the island of Sardinia, a magical and ancient land. I see myself as a little dragonfly, gliding lightly over the surface of a vast lake called Life. In over half a century of flight above these waters, I have witnessed many changes: at times calm and shimmering in the light of a new day, at others dark, shadowed, restless, and fearful. Yet I am still here, in this present moment, to tell my story and keep dreaming.
