Socrates was amazed that there were schools that prepared knights, sailors, soldiers for the exercise of the trade of arms but there were no schools that prepared to become men. This volume is addressed to all educators, Officers, Officials and Teachers who contribute to the ethical training of young people in the first years of their academic and professional career in the Armed Forces or in the Armed Corps of the State, to prepare them to become more aware men and women and motivated. However, the possession of the fundamental values, necessary for a responsible exercise of the profession, does not involve an automatic ability to transmit them; the transmission of ethical values ​​is complex, sophisticated, because it involves the conversation between generations and words and examples are still the most effective tools, together with the discipline in the broad sense. The topics contained in this book are intended to help improve knowledge and thus facilitate the transmission of the fundamental elements that characterize the ethics of those who work at the service of the institutions.
